SFpark project to begin installing multi-space parking meters in Civic Center on August 10
The SFMTA will begin installing new multi-space parking meters in the Civic Center area on Tuesday, August 10. These meters are part of the SFpark pilot project, which aims to make parking in the City more convenient. The meters will accept coins, credit/debit cards, and SFMTA parking cards.
These new multi-space meters will replace around 270 existing meters in the Civic Center area. This follows the July installation of 190 single-space meters in Hayes Valley. In September, the SFMTA will upgrade nearly 300 additional single-space meters in the Hayes Valley/Civic Center area.
