SFMTA to continue parking meter upgrades in SFpark pilot areas through December.

In July, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) began installing nearly 5,100 new SFpark coin & card parking meters in pilot areas across the City. These meters are part of the SFpark pilot project, which aims to make parking in the City more convenient. The meters will replace existing meters and will accept coins, credit/debit cards and SFMTA parking cards.

Meter installation will continue through December in Civic Center, Hayes Valley, The Fillmore, Financial District, Fisherman’s Wharf, Marina, Mission and SoMa.
